About me

Portrait of Depth Art Therapy practitioner smiling.

Welcome. I am Dr. Danielle Meyer, a depth psychotherapist, licensed mental health counselor (LMHC), registered art therapist (ATR), and archetypal astrologer.

I hold a Master’s in Art Therapy from Adler University (2012) and PhD in Depth Psychology: Jungian and Archetypal Studies from Pacifica Graduate Institute (2022).

I have worked in mental health since 2011 at various levels of care with extensive training in mood disorders and eating disorder recovery. I have been in private practice since 2022.  I have walked alongside individuals navigating the deepest, most complex terrains of the human psyche. My practice is born out of a profound respect for the unconscious.

Standard, modern therapy often treats symptoms as problems to be quickly managed or erased. In my practice, we view your struggles, your anxiety, your recurring dreams, your artistic blocks, or your feelings of misalignment not as broken pieces, but as a call from the soul demanding to be heard.

I have spent over a decade cultivating a highly specialized, multi-disciplinary approach designed for those who want to explore and integrate the personal and collective unconscious. My current practice blends depth psychological, psychodynamic, and creative modalities with deep symbolic exploration to help clients reconnect with their authentic self.
